Over 1000 works of art created by artists from all around the world have been sold since 2021.Description of responsibilities:-Handle daily operations including advertising, shipping, product acquisition and customer relations.-Advertise regularly via various social media outlets and website newsletter.-Ensure products are in the stated condition and that they are shipped safely.-Curate new products based on ratings and personal preferences. -Assist customers with inquiries, concerns, and maintain relationships with them via social media.

-Maintain high standards of customer service, train and evaluate personnel, and plan and direct maintenance and cleanliness of the store.-Ensure merchandise functions as advertised, and that it is priced and displayed correctly.-Set sales goals for employees and assist in reaching them. Measure performance daily.-Enforce banking, record keeping, loss prevention, safety, health, and security guidelines.-Prepare the schedules. Review time clocks each week. Assist in recruitment and hiring.

-Be familiar with products and pricing-Interact with the customers to make sure their needs are met-Know how to to answer or find the answer to any questions or problems customers may have-Ensure that the store is properly opened or closed-Conduct any refund or exchange transactions-Supervise any sales associates on the clock

-Develop and maintain a media plan over multiple platforms including social media and digital signage.-Develop and maintain a programming schedule for activities in the University Center.-Create digital and print marketing material for the University Center.-Identify and employ a system to effectively analyze the success of marketing and programming efforts in the University Center.-Manage the bulletin board postings throughout the University Center.-Update and manage the content displayed on internal digital signage in University Center.

-Serves as regular building staff to facilitate the general technical and setup needs of all events held in the University Center and Rose Theatre.-Serves as an event technician for incidental events.-Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of and ability to troubleshoot standard AV equipment in the UC and Rose Theatre, including: Crestron Touchscreen systems, installed and portable projectors, laptops and microphones and basic lighting control.-Responsible for the opening and closing of the University Center-Remaining available to customers in order to assist with any problems they may experience including but not limited to technical support or moving of furniture.-Supervisor to all House Crew on clock at the time-Strong leadership and communication skills are needed to effectively maintain the position.
