About Hunter Pearlstein
Welcome to my LinkedIn profile! I am second-year undergraduate student at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business studying Operations Management and Business Analytics (OMBA). I am currently on a 3 year track to receive my undergraduate bachelor's degree, graduating in May of 2026. Following undergraduate graduation, I intend to receive a master's degree in Business Analytics at the UMD Smith School of Business through their Plus-1 program, graduating in May of 2027. I am an engaging and energetic individual who maintains a fundamental passion for making a visible difference in communities, and using data to make strategic decisions. This summer, I will be interning at Deloitte in their Risk and Financial Advisory Department with a focus on analytics. This will be an incredible opportunity to gain real professional experience at a premier accounting firm in United States. At the University of Maryland, I have become quickly engaged as a Robert H. Smith School Ambassador, Vice President of the OMBA Society, and a member in the Smith Business Leadership Fellows Program. These positions have enabled me to work more closely with alumni, distinguished Smith faculty, and academic peers. I plan to continue to involve myself at The University of Maryland and beyond as more opportunities arise! In high school, I was a high achiever, serving as my high school's Student Government Vice President, member of a Principal Hiring Committee, Best Buddies Vice President, and founder of my company, First String Rackets. Beyond school, I am employed by Bethpage State Park part-time, host of the 2002, 2009 US Open, 2019 PGA Championship and Golf Digest's 7th ranked public golf course in the USA, as a pro shop inventory assistant. My ongoing experience at the Black Course has taught me the importance of ensuring that inventory is sufficient and forecasts are accurately made.
