Hunter Begehr Email and Phone Number
My name is Hunter Begehr, and I'm a student at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Marketing and International Business. I'm also a member of the Hutton Honors College, and I hold the Indiana University Dean's Scholarship. One of the most significant accomplishments of my life was founding and currently operating a charitable campaign called "Scoring Together" in memory of my father, who passed away in January 2022 from an 11-year battle with Prostate Cancer. Through this campaign, I was able to orchestrate an inaugural event that pitted the best high school players in Ohio against an all-star team featuring Division 1 college players, including myself. As a marketing enthusiast, I drafted all the brand and advertising materials for this fundraiser, including the name, logo, value proposition, website, mission statement, soccer jerseys, and social media accounts on Instagram and Facebook.Through my marketing efforts, I was able to establish key relationships with benefactors and attain donations for the cause. Our initial goal was to raise $5,000 throughout the entirety of the event, but we were able to exceed expectations by raising $16,000 before the event even started. Adding up the post-event donations, we brought in a total of $18,000 to benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the Fernside Center for Grieving Children.Overall, I believe my experiences have helped me develop strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, and I am excited about the opportunities that the future holds. Ultimately, my goal is to secure a position in the marketing industry where I can use my skills and experiences to make a positive impact and contribute to the success of the organization.
