I graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a concentration in Mechatronics from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. With experience working independently as well as in groups. I interned at Micro-Vu (Precision Metrology Equipment), Laminar LAA (Left Atrial Appendage), and Boston Scientific - Neuromodulation Group. My knowledge for engineering grew through accomplishing projects while collaborating and gathering valuable insight from engineers in industry. My fascination with CAD (SolidWorks) and problem solving were challenged through design projects geared toward: (1) designing a handle capable of deflecting a pull-wire style steerable guide catheter shaft; and (2) designing an improved electrode for Radiofrequency Ablation therapy. Aside from my coursework, I enjoy hands-on projects, fitness, and travel.
