Researching and testing of a soft robotic artificial heart. Part of an EU funded project "Hybrid Heart", where I am responsible for fabrication and testing of the heart. A mock circulatory loop which mimics the cardiovascular system of the human body is also being developed.

I was responsible for creating a demo, where a KUKA industrial robot would solve the wireloop game using artificial intelligence. The control algorithm of the robot was done in python.A support vector machine and a reinforcement learning algorithms were implemented.

Development and Control of a 5-DOF coordinate measuring device. During my internship atBARC, Mumbai I had worked on the SCMM which is a 5-DOF robotic arm which will be usedto give the location of the patient's skull in relation to the neurosurgical robot, which can thenaccurately perform a minimally invasive biopsy. I also worked on a 3-DOF parallel planar.

During this internship, I had conducted research on Shape Memory Alloys(SMA) and itsproperties, along with designing and fabricating artificial muscles for robotic facial expressionsusing SMA. A research paper was published and two patents were also filed for the designs.During the internship, I was also trained in ROS and LabVIEW.
