Carol has been a Project Manager in the Enterprise and Project Management organization at American Century for the last three years, where she leads and delivers high value, high profile, infrastructure, sales, human resources, regulatory, product and website programs, projects and epics.Carol joined American Century Investments in July of 2013 in the newly created role of Digital Business Systems Analyst on the Digital Engagement Team. Carol’s focus was on drawing out, defining and documenting business and functional requirements for digital improvement projects across all the public ACI websites. Carol was part of the Digital team in 2013 that received the Team Recognition Award and has continued to expand her scope of influence through servant leadership, participant in content migrations, learning new tools and embracing change, on one of the first SCRUM teams launched at ACI in 2016. Prior to ACI, Carol started her transition from Telecom to Technology and Financial Services at VML, as a Business Systems Analyst and SCRUM Master, working on website redesigns with clients such as; Pioneer, PayPal, Dell, Quest, Whole Foods and Western Union. Carol started her career in Telecom at Sprint while she was in college in Detroit, MI; and worked her way up from Call Center Sales into Marketing and Management roles, while completing her bachelor’s degree. Throughout her tenure at Sprint, Carol focused on mentoring individuals in their career growth, building successful teams, developing and launching new business and establishing Quality, BPI and Six Sigma programs across the company and its vendors.
