Starting my career as a researcher for the Chinese government, I have participated in the UNFCCC negotiations along with the world's most brilliant diplomats, from the process of which I realized that a low carbon future requires technology breakthroughs and industrial support.Expecting to solve more practical problems in an era of energy transition, I joined BP where I learned to analyze market trends and form long-term strategies through a combination of rigorous supply-demand modelling and qualitative research.My passion on technology innovations eventually led me to NIO, China's leading high-performance electric vehicle manufacturer. I joined as a city manager of the NIO Power business in Beijing, where I built a team of ~150 people and delivered NIO's pioneering IoT-based charging and battery swapping service to 3,000+ users on a 7X24 basis. The hands-on operational experience and a solid strategy planning background enabled me to design future strategy and business models for NIO Power.Outside of work, I am an active writer and influencer. I have 20,000+ followers on multiple social media platforms where I share insights through articles and 1-on-1 consulting on leadership, life planning and self-improvement, especially to younger professionals.
