Evaluating system impact of distributed generation and ensuring the system maintains safety and reliability to PG&E customers. Ensuring that any new generating facility follows proper voltage, protection, and islanding conditions per PG&E standards. Involved in standardizing engineering requirements and improving work flow processes. Also very knowledgeable with CPUC Rule 21 tariff and FERC Wholesale tariff for Distributed Generation projects.

Involved in the Entry Engineering Program which included rotating into three different departments. Redesigned UG and OH systems in Distribution Engineering to improve reliability or capacity of feeders and managed multiple projects effectively. In Transmission Operations, created clearance guidelines and flow limits for multiple outages and multiple contingencies. Also upgraded annunciator for faster real-time response in the operability of Diablo Canyon Power Plant. Was also responsible for setting several relays for Distribution protection and bank protection while in System Protection.

Assisting the Distribution Engineers across the Northern Divisions with the Cornerstone Project to improve reliability by proposing Project Authorizations for installing fuses, and fault indicators. Also assist in a wide variety of small projects as requested by the Distribution Engineering Supervisors.

Updating capability sheets for transformer banks and feeders by cross-referencing with capability size of conductor and protective devices.Uploading peak-load data for engineering operation's and planner's usage.Calculating and uploading power factor of transformer banks at various substations, then making appropriate recommendations for correcting power factor.

Working as an indirect salesman pairing customers’ necessities with an ideal phone. Making sure customers acknowledge all possible monthly plans along with accessory plans to fit customers’ needs. Managing customer complaints effectively.
