Vanuit mijn rol als strategisch adviseur hou ik mij bezig met de inhoudelijke koers van het programma Rotterdam Circulair. Hoe maken wij als stad en als gemeente de transitie naar een circulaire economie? Dragen onze inspanningen, initiatieven, projecten bij aan het uiteindelijke doel? Circulariteit is namelijk een middel, en manier van kijken en doen. Het doel is om te leven, wonen, werken, consumeren op een manier dat in balans is met onze omgeving. Regeneratie en ecosysteem herstel met ons handelen zo veel mogelijk vergroten, en uitputting, vervuiling en verspilling zo veel mogelijk terugdringen.

IN transities heb ik opgericht om mede idealisten op de werkvloer te inspireren en begeleiden bij hun duurzame missie. Duurzaam leiderschap vraagt namelijk moed, lef en doorzettingsvermogen. En een goede dosis zelfinzicht en mensenkennis om tegen de stroom in te blijven gaan waar je voor staat, zonder de verbinding met jezelf en anderen kwijt te raken. Ik organiseer workshops, geef lezingen, begeleid teamdagen en biedt individuele begeleiding in verschillende vormen.

Als specialist duurzaamheid bij woningcorporatie Woonstad Rotterdam focus ik mij op de strategische doelen circulaire vastgoedexploitatie en een klimaatadaptieve voorraad. Met andere woorden hoe wij in ons vastgoedportfolio de kringloop van bouwmaterialen gaan sluiten door circulair te ontwerpen, hoogwaardig te hergebruiken en circulaire samenwerkingsvormen aan te gaan. En hoe wij daarbij in en rond ons vastgoed maatregelen treffen om de stad leefbaar en gezond te houden, óók in een veranderend klimaat met extremere weersomstandigheden.

MVO Nederland inspires and motivates entrepreneurs to get down to business with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by providing practical knowledge and interesting case studies. The organisation facilitates a growing and ambitious business network with CSR front runners as well as beginners, both SMEs and large enterprises. I am responsible for developing new knowledge on CSR based on the insights of qualitative market research. Most importantly is to translate these insights into practical, inspirational and accessible content (online and offline) for companies and entrepreneurs. I produce content like e-books and infographics, design learning and networking programs and facilitate meetings and events. Topics I am specialized in are circular economy and social innovation, within various sectors such as agrifood, trade and IT. IIR, part of Informa Business, develops conferences and training programs for the business market. As product development manager, I was responsible for developing an independent portfolio for the energy market & the world of data and analytics. More specifically my core activities entailed: 1) Market researcherThorough research to spot trends, recent developments and information gaps. Translate this information need into high quality and innovative conferences and training programs. 2) Program ManagerResponsible for the program content and establish the main goals and objectives of the event or educational program. Select, invite and brief key speakers, interesting case studies and workshop leaders. 3) Content ManagerCreating, collecting and editing unique and interesting content for monthly newsletters, such as interviews, blog posts and eBooks. Also responsible for copy-writing: informational and promotional content for both online and offline purposes, such as the program brochure, event website and social media. 4) Project Manager Responsible for the progress of the project, guarding project goals and financial aspects. Managing a multidisciplinary team consisting colleagues of the marketing, sales and logistics department. Responsible for monitoring project deadlines and quality objectives.
