Vernon is an experienced senior executive with 20+ years of Business Development, Capture and Client Delivery experience helping client organizations leverage emerging technologies and innovative management approaches to achieve business results. He has successfully developed and grown accounts in Greenfield agencies. As Account Executive, he won contracts at Interior ($450M FMLOB), USDA (teaming partner for a $500M ERP modernization, $10M Security BPA and $250M IT Services BPA) and DHS ($44M Cloud Migration). As a Capture Executive, he won large deals at Census and the IRS. Vernon is passionate about leveraging emerging technologies and innovative management approaches to help client organizations achieve business and mission results. He has a proven track record of doing so at DHS, helping an agency leverage cloud technology to transform its mission operations, at the IRS, leading a portfolio of transformation programs to lead the IRS into the digital age (electronic services for tax payers and tax payer relationship management), and at the EPA, building out an environmental electronic exchange between the agency and the ecosystem of States, Tribes and Industry partners. Vernon has worked at CSC and Deloitte focusing on Federal clients and at Link Simulation Systems, building nuclear power plant simulators for commercial utility companies.
