About Wessam Hamid

From concept to creation, I turn robots into reality. I'm a robotics engineer with 4+ years of experience specializing in developing autonomous mobile robots for automating dull, dangerous, and dirty tasks. My expertise spans the entire product development lifecycle, translating ideas into functional robots. I leverage my expertise in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Onshape) and Product Data Management (SolidWorks PDM, Onshape Data Management) to translate concepts into designs. I utilize CAM techniques including 3D printing and laser cutting for rapid prototyping and validation. My experience with machine shop tools, sheet metal forming, welding, and CNC machining ensures those designs become reality. My programming proficiency in Python, C++, and experience with ROS (1 & 2) bring the robots to life. I thrive in agile environments and excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams.
