It had a brief hiatus and was brought back in late 2014 by the original founders to align with new cultural and digital trends.Hudson East was hired to help relaunch the magazine which we developed through a strategic partnership with Lexus that culminated in an award winning documentary film shown at Cannes

Surface is the American equivalent of Wallpaper magazine; a high-end art and design monthly based in New York City. I was responsible for developing non - endemic brand partnerships and increase sales through advertising and sponsorships.CASE STUDY: Corzo TequilaUsing category insight led the team that pitched, won and helped produce a series of tailored events for the brand that would help connect them to the cool design crowd of New York.• The activation culminated with a collaboration with Kanye West at Art Basel Miami in 2013• The series featured in Miami press as a must-see event in Art Basel• A New York designer (Joe Doucet) was commissioned to create an installation inspired by the bottle which was then put on auctionCASE STUDY: Audi Design DinnersI pitched and won a series of dinners that would be hosted by the sponsor and each tailored to the audience. We seamlessly weaved Audi's interest in performance and design to each event by having artists create unique pieces inspired by the brand.
