I’ve worked within the Energy industry for over 20 years for various organisations. For the last ten years the focus of my work has been in Real Estate and Workplace Experience teams for two large international organisations across multiple sites. I am used to delivering high profile projects and managing teams while being home based, using digital communication tools and regular site visits to keep connected to customers, stakeholders and teams, to meet key project milestones and organisational objectives. My objectives have focused on organisational strategy through thought leadership, compliance and efficiency. I have led teams of direct reports, FM contractors and project teams to deliver complex programmes of work, focused on delivering improvement in organisationaly Workplace Experience. I am used to managing and supporting delivery of workplace contracts and have delivered improvement programmes with our site based FM teams. I have worked closely with a broad range of stakeholders, including Directors, Senior managers, FM and Procurement teams in order to deliver continuous improvement across the business. I excel at mentoring and supporting my teams and I have a proven track record of being able to adapt to deliver my objectives in challenging business circumstances. I proactively keep up to date with the latest legislation, best practice and technologies, ensuring that my skills are in line with evolving requirements. Future Leaders Amazon Expedition Team Leader

I led a group of 16 students and RWE npower employees to the remote wilderness of the Brazilian rainforest. This expedition took us 4 days travel to reach the village of Nova Cachoeira, where the Kaxinawa tribe have lived for many generations. Unfortunately the village was hit by a devastating flood, which meant the village had to be relocated on higher ground. This means that the villagers have to carry water long distances to their homes, causing back and neck problems. They've also been… Show more I led a group of 16 students and RWE npower employees to the remote wilderness of the Brazilian rainforest. This expedition took us 4 days travel to reach the village of Nova Cachoeira, where the Kaxinawa tribe have lived for many generations. Unfortunately the village was hit by a devastating flood, which meant the village had to be relocated on higher ground. This means that the villagers have to carry water long distances to their homes, causing back and neck problems. They've also been working hard by candle light for years to undertake arts and crafts in the evenings. This is causing eye sight problems too. The local mayor of the nearest town (4 days up river) heard about their problems and we answered their call for help. The team travelled out to the village and brought an engineer with us and installed solar panels, which gave them a sustainable energy supply which brought them light in the evening to help with their craft works. Perhaps even more importantly we had a well dug and spent time channeling water pipes across the village, bringing a stand-pipe to each house to reduce the dozens of man hours spent collecting water each week. The project was a massive success and the team did a fantastic job. The villagers were hugely grateful and we're looking to work with the Kaxinawa tribe again next summer. I led npower’s Amazon rainforest sustainability expedition and a group of 16 students and employees. I identified the needs and objectives of the tribal leaders and to implement a solution that met their requirements, overcoming language barriers and logistical adversities presented by the remote Amazonian rainforest, paving the way for future projects by the Brazil government.Below are a few short videos I made about the project.
