Rob Lloyd is Chairman and Managing Member of the Ultimate Frisbee Association, an emerging action sport with 24 teams playing professional Ultimate Frisbee in North America and reaching an audience of nearly 2 million ultimate enthusiasts around the world.Recently he also become cofounder and Director of TPC Development Corp, formed to bring 65 high end Pickleball facilities to Canada as Master Franchise of The Picklr indoors clubs in Canada. Pickleball is now the fastest growing participation sport in North America.Rob left his position as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member in October 2018 of the LA based transportation innovator, Virgin Hyperloop One after joining the company in 2015. Prior to joining Hyperloop Tech, Rob was President of development, sales and IOT at Cisco Systems responsible for 40,000 talented employees operating around the world.He led numerous innovation programs within Cisco. He was deeply involved in many of the company’s largest customer and partner relationships in the government, enterprise and telecommunications markets. Lloyd has worked and lived internationally, including four years as president Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia living in London, England.Prior to joining Cisco Canada as GM in 1994, Lloyd was entrepreneur in the personal computer and networking industry founding and growing a company that became one of the largest value added computer resellers in Canada with over 400 employees and over $200 million of revenues. Rob believes in the power of education to improve the lives of young people from every background and that each person has the right to access quality education, deserves an opportunity to become the best person they can be, and harness the benefits of entrepreneurial spirit. He serves on the board of Trustees of Santa Clara University in silicon valley, is Chairman of Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis, MI. is on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement USA and board of Eseye in Guildford UK. Lloyd currently lives in California with his wife and family.
