As a member of the Bank Feeds team at Xero, I was responsible for maintaining connections between customers and their financial institutions.Our team focused on modernizing and simplifying our domain and its products, upgrading and rebuilding components to reduce toil and problems for engineers and customers while improving scalability and visibility.In addition to improving the products, I also contributed to the development and growth of our team by providing mentoring and technical guidance to my colleagues. I used a range of tools and technologies, including Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS services, C#, .NET and React.

As a member of the Compliance tribe, I helped build solutions for the fleet tracking and telematics industry, ensuring that our customers were compliant with US and EU laws. We followed agile methodologies and leveraged continuous integration and deployment to deliver fast, high-quality products. I had the chance to work on several products that allowed me to use a wide range of technologies, including mobile (Nativescript, Kotlin and Swift), web (Angular, React, ASP.NET), and backend (C#/.NET, Node.js, AWS tools).One of my key projects involved redesigning and developing a service to track vehicles in real-time, solving complex calculations based on their activity. This service processed more than 12 million data points per day and was built with .NET, Redis, RabbitMQ, and ran in AWS.

Intendencia de Montevideo is the Local Government Authority in Montevideo, Uruguay. As a full-stack Java EE engineer at Intendencia de Montevideo, I participated in every stage of the software development life cycle, from planning to deployment to production. With 1.5 million people depending on our services, resilience and scalability were essential.In addition, I led a project to transform manual tax processes for event venues into an online, integrated system. I also provided support and training to the team on Java development.

As part of the Quality Assurance team, my tasks included designing manual and automated (Selenium) test cases, execution and generating reports. I also worked in non-functional testing by performing volume and performance tests (OpenSTA).
