The word Khoj means to search in Hindi. We at Khoj want to create experiential learning journies for your youth so that they could learn, unlearn and relearn more about themselves and their interests. We have designed an adventurous eight-month learning journey and we named it “The Great Indian Treasure Hunt”. Through this journey, we aim to take our participants out of their comfort zone to grow. The Great Indian Treasure Hunt has six different phases: Sky, Water, Fire, Metal, Earth, and Air. Each phase focuses on learning and individual growth with specific outcomes. At the end of the journey, based on our set criteria, a jury will select one team as the winner of The Great Indian Treasure Hunt. The winning team along with other teams will receive a treasure fund that will set them free to work on their idea and to chase their dreams.The program also aims to create innovators, social change-makers, leaders, entrepreneurial minds, and professional team players—all in all, youngsters who do not fear failures and thus dare to take risks in their lives.

This is a significant achievement for our project as we were chosen out of more than 500 project applications from 120 countries.As finalists for the Young Global Changers Recoupling Award 2023, I have been invited to attend the Global Solution Summit #GSS2023 in Berlin, Germany. This is a fantastic opportunity allowed us to present our project on a global platform, learn from other young changemakers, and expand our network.

kanthari in Trivandrum, Kerala, South of India, offers a 12 month leadership program for visionaries who have overcome adversity and who are keen to drive ethical social change. kanthari will equip participants with tools that are required to start and run an NGO, organisation or social venture: project planning, accounting, fundraising, developing policies, Curriculum development, venture profile, public speaking, branding etc.All hands-on practical workshops are conducted by a group of international experts we call catalysts.kanthari fosters participants from all over the world. Some have university degrees while others have little to no formal education. Some are blind or physically disabled, others have no disabilities at all. What is important is a sense of ownership, motivation, creativity, talent and passion to create a positive social impact in their communities and have the strength to be forces of good rather than victims of circumstance.kanthari is the Authorized training center of the Vocational training program of Bharath Sewak Samaj (BSS), National development agency, promoted by Govt. of India.

HOPE foundation works to bring about change in the lives of children, young people and vulnerable individuals, through education, healthcare, training and support.Responsibilities● To design and deliver both tech skills and communications training content which has been developed keeping in mind the needs of student to the local context whilst ensuring session outcomes are delivered.● To ensure training outcomes are achieved in each session and youth receive consistent messagesthroughout all training interventions.● To apply and continuously develop innovative training techniques to make training more effective,fun and interactive.● To work in close partnership with the Centre Coordinator and Hope Foundation team to ensureyouth have the impartial information, advice and guidance that empowers them to make positivechoices about potential careers.● To monitor & evaluate the results of the training program on a weekly basis.● To identify and respond to risks that could lead to youth dropping out of the programme.● Building strong and trusted relationships with youth from the start of their engagement with training programme.

As a part of B. R Ambedkar Rural Education Fellowship I was placed in residential school in a rural village of Narsampet, Telangana. There I worked closely with the Telengana Governments Social Welfare Department for SC/ST and minority students. My main responsibility there was to implement UNESCO's Happy School Framework and to help them to improve their communication and inculcate values and skills required to compete in technological era and I was working all the stakeholders of the school like principal, teachers and parents to make the school environment a happy and safe space the students to learn and progress. I also had designed the learning curriculum based on the students need and have planned and organised outdoor learning camps and workshops. I frequently used to monitor and evaluate the progress and submitted the reports to the Dr. R.S. Praveen Kumar,IPS who was leading the project.

Pravah International Citizen Service (ICS) is a life changing three-month volunteering program for both Indian and UK nationals organised by Pravah and VSO which is overlooked by the Government of United Kingdom. The program is designed in way to develop and shape young volunteers to be a responsible global citizens. I lead a diverse team 10 members of which were both Indian and UK nationals and following were my responsibilities.● Intial research and preparation for the program and community to further prepare for placement.● Adhere to the Pravah ICS code of conduct, acting as a role model to volunteers all the times.● Carry out volunteer 1:1s offering empathetic support and enabling them to lead solutions to challenges they are facing.● Ensure the team remains focused on the program aims and objectives and help resolve team problems and conflicts.● Submission of volunteer development report every month to program supervisor.● Facilitate group meetings and learning sessions.● Lead writing of team plans and participate in planning, design and implementation of activities; hold review, planning and feedback meetings.● Lead writing of weekly project reports and lead creation of handover of projects for the host organization.● Collate evidence of impact from volunteers, young people in communities and leaders in communities.
