Director Of Organizational Structure & Development
CurrentResponsible for leading operations related to staffing, skills development and engagement, and employee management in compliance with state/federal law requirements, consistent with DEI core principles, based on research and analytics. • Provide leadership and direct oversight to a team of 8 administrative personnel - consisting of managers, supervisors, and coordinators – and indirect oversight of a team of 30 field-work staff• Analyze diverse issues and existing practices pertaining to the employee lifecycle and develop/enhance administrative policies and HR initiatives that support a positive, engaged, and inclusive work environment for all levels of staff, using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods• Guide a full spectrum of recruiting, selection, hiring, and onboarding activities by leading and guiding adoption of best practices that align with infrastructure growth and service delivery expansion•Develop and manage large, multifaceted projects that ensure staff are equipped with the organizational knowledge, resources, and tools to meet the performance expectations• Confer and collaborate with management staff on developing, communicating, and delivering cross-training and upskilling strategies and opportunities for promotion/succession plans to staff• Organize, enhance, and oversee employee offboarding plans for staff resignations as well as involuntary terminations• Develop and lead the implementation of new ideas, systems, relationships, events, or products that encourage mutual trust, respect, and cooperation between staff levels and across department lines, promoting team comradery and facilitating recognition of individual and team achievements•Track ongoing staffing needs and response efforts, analyzing for trends in recruitment, cross-training, retention, and attrition• Advise and train managers/supervisors on techniques and skills for responding to employee grievances and/or performance issues, and monitor managerial effectiveness
