Iain is the Head of the Employment team and has long-standing experience in dealing with all areas of employment law. He advises employers and senior executives on employment matters, and has particular expertise in Tribunals. Iain has been involved in Employment Law since unfair dismissal was first introduced. His clients range from large multinational PLC’s to medium sized and small companies and he has acted for both employer and employee in cases involving unfair dismissal, all types of discriminatory complaints and equal pay disputes. He has represented commercial clients in Employment Tribunals in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland and has also represented employers at mediation hearings of Employment Law disputes.Iain is accredited as a specialist in Employment Law by the Law Society of Scotland. He is also a Member of the Law Society of Scotland’s Employment Law Committee and acts as a part-time Employment Judge. Iain is recognised by the Chambers and Partners 2011 directory as a 'Leader in his Field'.
