Overall coordination responsibility and regular field level managment of global emergency response implimentation for the IFRC.

Operational coordination between the Red Cross/Red Crescent, the UN General Assembly, UN agncies, and member governments at both HQ and at the field level. Liaison between the Federation Secretariat in Geneva, the Delegations in the field and the UN system (specifically: OCHA and the ICRC). Represented the IFRC at the IASC and on President Clinton’s Special Envoy’s Global Consortium for Tsunami Recovery.
