Worked alongside contractors, suppliers and recruitment teams to mobilise store opening based on a 16 week development plan and acted as site coordinator for many aspects of the build.Successfully appointed in a permanent role of Site Director with oversight of several franchise operations including McDonald's/Costa Coffee/WHSmiths and Days Inn Hotels. Responsible for setting 2013/14/15 financial budget based on sales and growth information available from development models and previous sales history. Currently successfully operating a growing catering/retail business with excellent controls and profitability levels.Currently developing a management team of 10 including Unit and Operations Managers to deliver operational and financial standards across their business. Weekly business indicator reviews to analyse performance and team productivity across the site. Ensuring successful achievement of Gross Profit levels, Labour Budgets, GPAW and overhead spending to deliver challenging EBITDA growth. I find that a key factor in achieving this is developing the team to have more responsibility and understanding of financial accounts, being able to disect on a line by line basis looking at the detail and opportunities.
