- Led survey development and data collection planning for a $1.9 million community-based participatory research project among low-income people of color in Detroit. This included conducting site visits with four community partners, collaborating with the community partners to develop data collection plans and processes unique to their clinic flow, and developing survey instruments in English, Spanish, and Arabic. The study was funded by the National Institute for Health Care Reform.- Managed intervention development and assessment of a $300,000 study funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality- Trained and supervised six part-time research assistants in screening over 850 patients and recruiting, consenting, and collecting data on over 100 patients/participants in two weeks (also led follow-up efforts which resulted in a 94% retention rate)- Led data analysis in SAS for a $50,000 pilot study and assisted with drafting a grant proposal using data from this pilot study- Collaborated with principal investigator to write and submit a grant which was funded ($41,662)- Developed a web-application in collaboration with University of Michigan 3D Lab- Managed regulatory requirements for human subjects IRB across multiple research studiesIn this position I worked on four projects that: 1) developed and evaluated a pre-visit, electronic screening tool for health-related financial burden.
