Programme Manager for UNHCR's 'Business Transformation Programme', a multi-year initiative focused on transforming UNHCR business processes and implementing SaaS solutions to address key business pain points and increase capabilities. By leveraging modern, best-of-breed tools and technologies the programme aimed to elevate UNHCR's credibility, efficiency and effectiveness through several projects including Digital HR, Results Based Management, Cloud ERP, External Engagement Management, Project Management and Oversight, and Integration/Reporting/User Experience.

Lead the development and execution of PSC’s information management, analytics and knowledge management strategy to maximize the effectiveness and benefits of technology for PSC and its partners, with a focus on the implementation of systems, tools and processes to enable actionable insight.

Responsible for management of PSC's business technology portfolio, which was focused on value-maximizing business technology strategy and improving project management capabilities through information management, analytics, and integrated processes.

Lead the definition and transformation of UNOPS project management processes as part of the UNOPS Business Innovation and Improvement Programme (BIIP), an initiative focused on the use of technology to transform UNOPS operations into a smarter, better-integrated set of processes and systems. Key outputs and successes included the consolidation of UNOPS' systems landscape as well as the roll out of a new ERP system.

Responsible for the oversight and operational management of a large portfolio of projects focused on peace and security. Countries covered included South Sudan, Sudan, Uganda, Iraq, and Turkey.Additionally served as technology coordinator, leading global innovation initiatives and pilot projects focused on leveraging new technologies to improve efficiency through reduced administration, increased collaboration and lower costs.

Managed a change management project focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of UNOPS' East African offices through the improvement of business processes and PRINCE2-based project management training.

Managed a portfolio of bilateral projects related to the transport sector in Afghanistan focused on horizontal infrastructure and including community grants/environmental elements.

Managed a portfolio of technical assistance projects related to rule of law, security, procurement, infrastructure and HR in the West Bank.

Served as a consultant for UNOPS' office in Jerusalem by drafting legal documents and advising on operational and management strategies to ensure compliance with UN rules and regulations.

Worked with the UNOPS HQ Contracts and Property Committee (HQCPC) to ensure that proposed procurement actions were in compliance were in accordance with UNOPS policies and procedures.

Duties included drafting international contracts and other types of agreements, risk management, policy development, corporate governance, support to internal investigations and other legal tasks as required.

Performed legal tasks for members of the UNOPS Legal Practice Team as needed including contract drafting and review, knowledge management, legal research and facilitating the merger of UNOPS and the Inter-Agency Procurement Services Office (IAPSO).

Researched international legal issues including the post-Soviet finance system, domestic-international law transposition and the prosecution of war crimes by the International Criminal Court.
