Patrol Response Unit:Aug. '04, founding member of the City's first police department; aided transition of police services from County Sheriff Department; oriented lateral police officers in geography, procedures, and local ordinances. Protected life and property; enforce local laws and ordinances; prevent and investigate crimes; maintain law and order; serve court orders, perform civil standby, testify in court cases, transported prisoners to jail.Community Policing Unit:Mar. Narcotics Investigations Unit:Assisted with narcotics investigations, writing search warrant affidavits, executing search warrants, filing executed search warrants with the county clerk; gathering, organizing, and booking evidence.Washington State certified Defensive Tactics Field Instructor:Assisted Master Instructor; worked in conjunction with firearms cadre to develop fusion training scenarios; train and evaluate participants in department approved defensive tactics.
