As a member of the AfYBC Bureau of Representatives, I champion youth-led businesses across Africa, advocating for youth-friendly economic policies and making the AfCFTA work for young entrepreneurs.Responsibilities:Advocacy: Represent youth-led private sector entities, institutions, and associations, ensuring their voices are heard in shaping business policies.Trade Promotion: Promote cross-border trade opportunities for young entrepreneurs within the AfCFTA framework.Resource Mobilization: Collaborate with stakeholders to secure investment financing, growth support, and market access for youth-led businesses.Capacity Building: Facilitate capacity-building programs, networking, and knowledge exchange among youth-led SMEs.Policy Influence: Advocate for fair trade, competition, and connectivity, fostering an enabling environment for youth-led enterprises.

Developing an AI-driven early warning system using data from the Tanzania Meteorological Authority along with historial data of weather events to predict extreme weather conditions in Tanzania, enhancing disaster preparedness and response, thereby aiding local governments and communities in strategic disaster management and mitigation planning. In patnership with OMDENA joined by a collaborative team of up to 50 AI engineers from all around the world.
