London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay

As a committed brand ambassador, I worked in Event Management for leading experiential field marketing agencies for two and a half years. The most notable client was Coca-Cola, the main presenting partner for the London 2012 Olympic Torch relay. This was an 80 day nationwide tour for one of our most exciting celebrations, requiring impeccable time management and organisation. Expectations had to be managed for both promoters and the public. Staff needed to be well informed, disciplined and driven to ensure the experience remained constant throughout the entire tour.

I worked at the pioneering Best Buy store in Thurrock on the Geek Squad team. The job required up-to-date product knowledge in all major areas of technology as well as proficient computer skills. Employees were hired based on both their IT experience and their personality. A large aspect of the job involved customer interaction and the ability to give in-depth tutorials and explanations with a variety of applications.
