Product Manager of FactoryTalk Design Studio's automation common components and services. FTDS is a cloud-native software product focused on system design enabling teams to work more efficiently to create the next generation of automation systems.

Lead engineer and technical expert. Daily tasks include proposal guidance on deploying PlantPAx DCS systems, leading and peer reviewing engineering team daily activities in collaboration with project managers and providing technical guidance on various troubleshooting efforts. Over the years, I have worked on several difficult projects while leading large, sometimes 20+, engineering teams. A key skill I leverage for success is my detail oriented and methodical approach to identifying critical issues and guiding the team to complete the necessary tasks while still being flexible with the fluid nature of project work.

Supporting several, primarily life science focused projects, from greenfield PCS/EMS WFI Distribution SCADA System, to brownfield BMS/EMS SCADA expansions, and greenfield PCS/EMS SCADA systems for vial filling and tablet production lines. Daily activities varied but focused around project design support ranging from network architecture in collaboration with NSS, designing and coding equipment and phase logic for ISA-88 compliant batch systems, OEM skid integration, and HMI development. I functioned as a domain expert on Rockwell Automation software and PlantPAx DCS systems with a focus on coordinating and leading teams on functional specification and test protocol development and execution.

Completed the Rockwell Automation Engineer-In-Training intensive six-month program with hands-on projects and formal classroom training to learn the core Rockwell Automation product technologies, develop fundamental field support skills, and further enhance problem solving, communication, teamwork, leadership, and project management skills. Supported various projects including a Honeywell DCS to PlantPAx conversion of a tissue machine and greenfield EMS/BMS SCADA system for a vial filling and tablet production lines. Worked with geographically dispersed teams to support design, PLC/HMI development, functional specification, and test protocol development. Extensive site time for commissioning and validation support with tight timelines and varying customer demands.
