Serving a second year as a liaison between my Impact Manager and my AmeriCorps members in Washington DC Public Schools. Providing developmental support to AmeriCorps members through informal observations and coaching conversations to ensure that members are effectively serving our scholars. -Supports the Impact Manager in developing school partnership by formally checking in with teachers monthly and actively communicating with school administration on a regular basis-Design a monthly newsletter giving staff and teachers a quick glance of what we had planned for that specific month-Collaborates with the learning and development project leader to provide team based trainings and activities, enhancing personal and professional development and corps members overall experience

•A partnership between the Corporation for National and Community Service and the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency, FEMA Corps is a program in which individuals serve a 10 month, 1,700 hour commitment to national service.
