Managing the design and onsite engineering of an £8 million pound infrastructre project. The project included two bridges and 27 flood relief culverts. All of the earthworks embankments were lime and cement stabilised and built across a flood plain.

Responsible for all of the construction aspects of a $20 million dollar hotel refurbishment and extension in Arusha Tanzania. The 15mth project was completed on time and within budget with zero major accidents. I managed a workforce in excess of 500 people including 7 expatriates.

Managing the execution of the enabling works for 4 large mixed use developments. This included the installation of 1800 contiguous insitu bored piles over a 4 month period and the subsequent excavation to formation. I was responsible for maintaining programme, quality and health and safety onsite and resolving any technical issues which arose.

Exeter, United Kingdom

A very technically challenging project with tight deadlines to be met. A 2.4m diameter 1700m long tunnel was bored under the river Exe to take a 600mm diameter high pressure gas main. The gas main was welded together on the surface and pulled through the entire length of the tunnel on specially designed permanent rollers. Strand jacks mounted in the shaft.
