• Commercial audio design and technology specialist.• Industry leading IP Audio (AoIP) knowledge (technology, strategy, consultation, design & installation).• Member of the Institute of Sound, Communications & Visual Engineers (ISCVE).Served for 10 years within the RAF as a telecoms engineer, specialising in voice communications installation and maintenance. I left the RAF to 'chase technology', working for industry leading voice and audio technologists such as Bell Labs/Lucent, Avaya and Cisco.My early career development was based around an exciting period of change within the industry. Of particular interest to me was in playing an active role within the development and implementation of emerging Audio over IP (AoIP) and telephony related technologies and protocol standards. My current position is with Abletek where I am responsible for AoIP technology and audio application development. As audio technologies and wider AoIP capability continues to expand and transition from traditional analogue audio, my role is to provide guidance and technical design support to existing and new customer installation projects.
