I act as a Marketing consultant in supporting 30 Bingo Clubs with all their marketing activity. I have also written the Social Media, local CRM and Customer Acquisition Strategy to support those Clubs. I have also rebranded 30 Gala Bingo Clubs into Buzz Bingo across a 5-day period. This has included some stringent Brand Management as we look to grow, and protect, our new brand from its infancy.Key Responsibilities • Responsible for the Local Marketing Activity (including budgets, ROI and Results analysis) in 30 Bingo Clubs across Scotland and the North East England.• Work with Club Management Teams to grow their Social Media Reach and Engagement. • Work with General Managers and the Regional Director to develop regional activity. • Development of a CRM strategy and empower the GMs to deliver their own CRM activity.• Development of outreach activity across the regions – for both bingo and slots machines. • Mentor and support for staff undertaking outreach activities• Work with Opportunity Clubs to develop club specific plans. • Work with defined clubs to support the development of reactive activity in competitive areas. • Manage tests and trials of marketing activity to inform national campaigns.• Identifying and sharing best practice across all Marketing channels. • Coach and mentor GMs on marketing. • Management of Local Marketing Budget including promotional/voucher spend. • Work as part of the overall team to develop the integrated marketing plan. • Ensure all activity meets brand guidelines and address where it doesn’t.Key Achievements/Projects • Supported Gala Bingo Clubs as they rebrand and become Buzz Bingo and prepared an omni-channel brand• Created Social Media strategy to increase Likes, Reach and Engagement • Created an Outreach strategy to increase New Member acquisition and conversion• Created a CRM strategy to help increase admissions and GP while reducing churn

In April 2013, I successfully applied for a new position as Local CRM Manager in the company at our Head Office in Nottingham. I seen this as a fresh and exciting challenge for myself as well as taking a step into a different career role away from Retail Management. My original duties within this role mainly included the development and implementation of best practice local CRM activity as part of the annual marketing plan for the Gala Bingo retail brand. I was also tasked with building the necessary local CRM templates to facilitate all locally driven CRM which would primarily focus around communication of local promotions/ spikes and events. I also act as a local CRM consultant, directly assisting local clubs with improving and developing their campaigns where possible. Ensuring all CRM campaigns and activities are accurate and legal by working with compliance. Ensuring that brand presentation is consistent and complementary across all brand channels working with the Marketing Services team and associated marketing agenciesI was also tasked with assisting the Head of CRM in the planning and allocation of Gala Bingo annual CRM budget and management thereafter. I also used appropriate segmentation models to drive CRM effectiveness working with Clubs and stakeholders as required. As I have grown into my role, my responsibilities have grown. I received a substantial pay rise and received a new Job Title of CRM Manager. I now run the CRM New Member's Programme as well as managing all New Member Acquisition, Retention and Conversion for Gala Bingo. In this role, my activity has accounted for recruiting almost 12,000 New Members for our £5m new Bingo venue in Southampton. This including Membership Drives, managing a Membership Team, above and below the line Marketing activity and using social media. I also helped with the appointment process of an external advertising agency for this project.
