A retired experienced senior leader and qualified accountant (FCCA) with direct executive level management of: Finance, HR, IT, Fundraising and Communications, Facilities and major capital projects across a range of organisations and sectors. Last position Bursar at Mount Saint Mary's College, a role which encompassed the broad and varied experience gained from blue-chip corporations to smaller national charities; with a track record of driving improved performances, through some great teams in the charitable sector. Executive roles held in charities include: Bursar, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive and Finance Director; while charities include Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services and Mount Saint Mary's.Prior to joining Hearing Dogs and the not for profit sector as the Charity’s first Finance Director, worked in a number of market leading blue-chip organisations, including: Centrica and British Gas, the AA, BAA and Kodak.Voluntary experience includes: Trustee of Ashgate Hospicecare, Treasurer and subsequently Chairman of Assistance Dogs UK, Board member and Treasurer of Assistance Dogs Europe and Treasurer of the European Guide Dogs Federation. While having also been the GB Elite duathlon team manager for its most successful period ever on the world stage, thanks to working with some great Olympians.
