About Ian Gorner
I am a Structural Engineering Intern for the Bridge Department at Morrison-Maierle. I have a Master of Science in Structural Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines. I have experience using a wide variety of software including Risa 3D, AutoCAD, MathCAD, SAP 2000, Bluebeam, and Hilti PROFIS. I am also familiar with the following structural design codes: AISC, ACI, ASCE 7, NDS, SDPWS, and TMS. As a result, I am a fast learner and can quickly learn how to use new software and design specifications. Along with these technical skills, I am good at working in teams and know that well communicated ideas are extremely important for their overall success.
