I am interested in pursuing medicine and becoming a doctor. I have a desire to help others using medical knowledge and emotional support. I plan to continue my education and accumulate healthcare experiences to strengthen my application to Medical School. During my time at the University of Washington, Seattle, I acquired many laboratory skills to further my career goal. My favorite courses were Neuropharmacology and Developmental Neurobiology which introduced how the brain functions in response to drugs, and how the brain develops from a zygote, respectively. I have always been astounded with the complexity of the brain and I plan to specialize neurosurgery or family medicine when I acquire an MD.
