CFO for VWS UK Ltd which is part of the Veolia Group. VWS UK Ltd is involved in the manufacture, installation and service of water treatment technologies. In my role as the CFO my main areas of responsibility are:- the management of a financial shared service centre providing transactional support to various business units within the UK- ensuring that financial business processes and documentation are up-to-date and developed in line with system improvements, internal audit recommendations or changes in legislation or best practices.- identification and promotion of ongoing developments in systems and technology to improve the efficiency of the financial and business operations- the monthly Group reporting process, which includes the consolidation of business unit reporting, preparation of monthly accounts, monthly meetings with Group Finance function to discuss key movements and trends with particular focus on margins, EBITDA and cashflow against budget and most recent forecasts- co-ordination of budget and forecasting presentations - preparation of the annual financial statements and the associated liaison with the internal tax department and external auditors- company secretarial activities in relation to VWS UK LtdIn addition to my responsibilities as CFO for VWS UK Ltd, I am also on the board of Trustees for the Veolia UK Group pensions schemes and a member of the Investment Funding Committee.
