After completing my education as an engineer and mechanic, specializing in Pneumatics and Hydraulic systems, and earning a diploma in metal fabrication, I pursued my passion for the film industry. I underwent training and obtained a Diploma in Production Arts, which allowed me to work as a freelancer for both prominent production companies and small indie projects. In this role, I focused on creating static props, scenery, and interactive sets.However, my career path took a turn toward Event Management, where I acquired skills such as Customer Relationship Management, Conflict Resolution, Security Consulting, Health & Safety Consultancy, and Event Planning. Over the years, I had the opportunity to work with major event companies, music festivals, concerts, and film festivals. Inspired by my experiences, I eventually decided to establish my own events company called Liberty Events UK.Under the umbrella of Liberty Events UK, we organize various events including Film & Comic Cons, Outdoor themed Cinema screenings, Tribute Acts performances, Film Festivals, Interactive dinner events, and Scream/horror escape rooms. Our flagship and inaugural convention, Elstree-Con, has been successful in attracting around 1000 visitors over May and September. As we continue to grow, our fan base expands, and we aim to cater to all ages and fandoms.
