I am Head of Profession for our UK Rail discipline and am part of the Technical Leadership Group for our 8,000 strong UK business. I manage the competence and capability of all technical resources deployed in the Rail sector, including our supply chain partners. I am responsible for our Early Career Professional (ECP) development programme and am mentor and coach to a number of developing engineers. I manage the development and deployment of WSP business systems in the Rail-sector and have accountability for our qualifications under the RISQS scheme, where we have a five-star status.As a Chartered Project Professional and a Chartered Engineer, I understand engineering and design in the context of successful project delivery. As well as managing the competence and capability of all technical resources, I am responsible for project delivery functions including systems engineering and integration, system assurance and virtual design and construction; as well as our rail planning and operations and asset management functions.
