Services provided include: Technical design performance investigations and capability monitoring; Customer liaison in support of platform design tasks; Development of design changes, identifying and quantifying the impact of issues and risks; The conduct and project management of specific tasks, including definition and development of the task through to production of equipment / system modifications; Participation in Safety Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments; Management of sub-contracts – from the production of the “Request for Quote” through all clarification processes to the development and delivery of final solutions; Managing design integration between various disciplines; Final design acceptance. Accountable for design change tasks up to $500,000.00.

Electrical Production ManagerResponsible for the Project Management of all Electrical / Weapons aspects of ship refit work ongoing within a Warship Project Group, consisting of Royal Navy Type 22 & 23 Frigates and Survey Vessels. As a Ship Controller I undertook the production management aspects of ship refitting, managing a team of 2 First Line Managers and up to 25 Electrical Fitters. The job also entailed scheduling, controlling / managing budgets & labour, progress reporting and presenting installation inspections to the MoD Maritime Commissioning Trials and Assessment (MCTA) Teams. Accountable for system installations worth up to 20,000 man hours.
