Phase 2B comprises 6No.Plots which are made up of various buildings (the tallest one being 55m high) which houses 958 apartments, 1No.Leisure Centre, 16No.Commercial Units of varying types and 12No.townhouses.My role included holding sole responsibility on behalf of Tate Consulting for the delivery of services on the Royal Wharf Phase 2B scheme within a high-pressure environment. I attended key meetings with project funders and extensive client teams, I liaised with other members of the professional project team, I carried out day to day project co-ordination, risk identification, meeting project targets, programming of tasks, technical problem solving in terms of compliance with legislation and coordination with structural & architectural elements, cost management and Client consultation.My tasks also included being heavily involved in overseeing the production and quality control monitoring of design & responsibility with AFI (Authorisation For Issue) sign-off, specification approvals, design consultations, intense technical discussions with main & sub contractors involving programming, cost and design, contractor approvals for design technical submissions and site supervision to assess quality and compliance.As a result of my leadership and project relationships, Tate Consulting were awarded the next phase of works (Phase 3) on this project.
