Working with the AV industry to donate cinema rooms to children's hospices and other deserving causes.

Together For Cinema CIC is a Companies House registered Community Interest Company that designs and installs home cinema rooms in children’s hospices and other deserving locations across the UK. Those who benefit are not only the children and young adults with life limiting conditions, but their families, their carers and associated volunteers. It is a movement that has been embraced by all who know of our work and has had comprehensive support and backing from the AV industry, both in the UK and overseas. We work closely with over 100 industry partners and relevant associations.Together For Cinema was originlaly founded in 2009 but became a CIC in February 2023.With wonderful support and assistance from many companies in the AV industry Together For Cinema has, as of December 2023, been able to install 42 cinema rooms at a normal installation value of well over £1 million.With industry encouragement I agreed to manage Together For Cinema on a full-time basis and help realise more of it’s true potential. New and ambitious targets have been set and new avenues for community good are being identified. One such example that has been identified is the re-purposing of second hand, B-Stock and discontinued equipment to good causes.

Initially contracted by CEDIA in the UK to publish Expo associated literature. This also involved the selling of all advertising and sponsorships. In my final years I was also responsible for the selling of the CEDIA Expo, including all exhibition space and all advertising and sponsorship opportunities. The final show that I worked on was the 2007 CEDIA Expo and was their biggest ever.
