My name is Ian Morrison. I’m a current Freshman at the University of Washington studying as an intended Political Science major with a focus on International Security with hopes of double majoring in either Economics or Finance.I’m a member of the University of Washington’s Mock Trial team and have a passion for studying politics and law. I have held several public speaking positions and have competed nationally for civic engagement programs like “We the People.” I’ve held several leadership positions from serving as President for my High School’s National Honor Society to working a managerial position with the City of Las Vegas.I’ve received congressional acknowledgments from Senator Jacky Rosen, Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, and Representative Dina Titus as well as acknowledgments from Las Vegas City Mayor, Carolyn Goodman.I have a passion for politics and government and hope to eventually work for the U.S. foreign embassy. I’m open to any internship opportunities that help me gain experience in the field and get me that extra step closer to reach my goals.
