I am responsible for the brand’s marketing activities and internal/external communications, overseeing the development and delivery of a fully integrated IMC strategy for the business. This included all marketing collateral such as (website, print marketing materials, community management, setting and achieving objectives, writing blog content/press releases, working with Google and Facebook advertising, creating and maintaining media relationships). A large portion of my work consists of managing and optimising strategic social media campaigns, generating new client acquisitions through paid social and Adwords, re-qualifying existing clients using CRM and client reconnect loyalty systems, designing branded graphics (gif/mov/jpeg) for content both online and offline (outdoor ads), co-ordinating promotional activities across email newsletters.

During my time in DMG Media, I was given the added responsibility of managing the picture desk, alongside my existing role as a digital content creator. This involved: Conducting an effective search at commercial photo libraries. Sourcing good quality and relevant imagery for digital articles. Photoshop editing high-resolution images to acquire more click throughs to articles. Pitching topical photos to online journalists for curation of headline stories.

The role involved: Conceptualising and implementing tactful PR campaigns for clients trading in FMCG. Brainstorming and delivering creative and news worthy content for Irish media publication. Writing media releases and pitching to clients. Providing digital marketing support through; social media management, social media advertising management and content creation.
