Management allocation of spare parts and customer service for all vehicles but mainly Land Rover / Jaguar, identification of possible parts necessary for any particular job, ordering, receiving and allocation to engineers, I am very familiar and good with the use of technical web sites like Topix, JLR Portal and parts identification database, Euro Car Parts Technical and management website and data base, Autodata Technical and Management website and data base. organisation of parts and stores, updating parts system to list what is and is not in stock. Maintaining parts levels for "Off the shelf" parts allocation. Communication with customers taking bookings, keeping customers up to date with work in progress, applying parts to job, invoicing of final job.Supplying technical information to engineers when requested from fluid types and quantities to wiring diagrams and servicing details and schedules.Communication with customers to ensure they are updated at every stage of the job they have booked in with the company and to completion of the work necessary.Invoicing, running reports as to company expenses and profit and discussing pro's con's and possible improvements during company meetings with management.Dealing with problems associated with work on customers vehicles and customers concerns and complaints.

I maintained existing customers Equipment Computers, and IT devices CCTV and associated peripherals, and installed as required.This requires me to attend customers sites to repair and maintain devices and equipment maintained by ourselves under contract.Additional to the above I have to expand our existing customer base using sales techniques and skills, survey sites and install CCTV equipment/devices to customer tailored requirements.Programming DVR's cameras routers and equipment, Network and internet connectivity and installing equipment myself at customers shops and businesses.Interfacing with Customers Dealers and Suppliers to enhance our working relationships and business understanding which in turn will create work and revenue for the company.I attend exhibitions to gain knowledge of how the security market and security technology is advancing to keep us ahead of competitors.

Alpha Microsystems were taken over by Sanderson IT Services in 1996 I was senior engineer at the time in the field service department.The company were renamed Civica in or around 2000I was appointed Field Service Manager in 2003 and ran the field service department with 8 engineers reporting to me, a difficult and busy job, allocating engineers, keeping up with repairs giving technical support to both customers and our own engineers, keeping customers and our own management happy and ensuring a smooth and professional operation.

From Commissioning engineer attending Reading Technical college on a Technical Electronics course, I commissioned and tested all the whole range of Alpha Microsystems desktop and rack mount VME systems, I joined the field service side of the company in 1990 attending customers sites and repairing equipment both in the workshops and on site, my soldering (thanks to my silversmithing skills ) board repair work were second to none and because of this I was required to travel to Holland, Belgium and Switzerland to repair, upgrade and modify computer PCB boards on site.I have also worked at GCHQ and the Magistrates courts. again repairing and servicing Alpha's equipment.Alpha Microsystem was bought by Sanderson IT Services in 1996 .Happy days for me as the Alpha Team were such a fantastic bunch of people.
