I'm Interim General Counsel for East Asia and Head of Intellectual Property and Technology Law at Arup. I lead the legal work globally around the digital agenda.I established the firm's global venturing programme and now lead the legal work in support of it, including IP and corporate law. In recent years Arup has invested in bringing to market a wide range of products and equity ventures. Examples include a fleet of electric buses in Milton Keynes, a novel signalling system, a new type of green wall and a hybrid fan coil unit. We're now moving into the digital arena with new business models such as software as a service.I advise the pioneering ‘Weald to Waves’ project on a pro bono basis.
