    East Sussex
My role at Dalgety/GreenvaleAP was hugely varied and required me use a host of my skills to negotiate contracts, programme, manage operations, and coordinate logistics including transport costs for collections overseas. An example of my work at Dalgety Group was the coordination and purchase speciality potatoes from France to the St Leonards packing station, other packing stations within the group or into cold storage. In order for this to be achieved I produced a programme of volume, purchased directly from French growers, and worked out the most cost effective way to import into the UK.I managed the Safeway account. Under my supervision the the volume value and profitability saw double digit growth. I coordinated sales to the Safeway depots across 3 packing stations, negotiated prices, weekly against volumes received. I implemented weekly forecasting for each packing site and also produced annual reports against volume budget. Another key achievement was in aiding the site Agronomist to discuss how to grow, grade and store baby salad potatoes for UK packing. As I am fluent in the French language, and had built key relationships with French growers, I was able to interpret for them and achieve a successful outcome for both parties.
