Current- Corporate commercial lawyer and a member of Stewart McKelvey's Business Law practice group, combining a commercial real estate practice with a general corporate commercial practice. Provide advice on all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, condominium development, land assembly, wind farm development, financing and leasing in the retail, industrial, office and multi-residential sectors. Provide general legal advice to corporations and individuals on a variety of matters including financing, contract review and asset/share purchase and sale transactions, and routinely advise venture capital funds and private investors on structuring and executing investments in private companies. - (2014 – 2016) Corporate Associate Practice Manager involved in the management of corporate associates in the Halifax Office, including participation in associate evaluations, career development and mentorship of associates.- (2014 – 2016) Member, Associate Evaluation & Compensation Committee, Stewart McKelvey.- (2002 – 2012) Students Committee member involved in the recruitment and mentoring of summer students and articled clerks.
