Problem solve patient positioning issues for complex and long operatings for patient safety and comfort. And follow supervisors requests as necessary. We are also required to assist in preparing patients for surgery as need as each case is different. Follow surgical language to be able to setup 22 theatres on our 7 nightshift rotation. And be flexible on an already tough 16 week rotational roster. I also helped prepare viewings for the families of deceased patients and assisted in transplant operations eith DONATE LIFE staff.

I was lucky to have had a hardworking, reliable and great work ethic within such a small Stair industry in Brisbane. Stairway Solutions rang me and asked if i would be intetested in coming in for and interview so i thought it couldn't hurt to listen. They offered me an extraordinary offer that i could not refuse. Their i was able to become a Tradesman through RPL and learnt more about business, how to be even more efficient.My jobs there were organising cutting lists, acting C.N.C. Operator when our full time operator way away. Learnt how to keep Clients and Customers happy, compromise with people to achieve a fair outcome and learnt how to install to give customers a great final product. The days i wasn't on the road installing i was organising contractors, factory staff and liasing with the manager and owners to give updates on time schedules on jobs problems, problem solving options and implementing those ideas to be as efficient as possible. I also was on the factory floor as needed in busy periods helping out as i believe a great leader, leads by example.

I started there sweeping floors and general house keeping. I believe in working hard and if yiu work hard the right people will yake notice and that is exactly what happened here. I worked my way through a number of areas of Labouring and Trade positions and was asked if i would step up to help a small late afternoon team run late into the night. I took that opportunity and 6 months later became the afternoon supervisor. I continued to work hard and found more efficient processes to be able to maintain a safe work environment save money and labour costs eventually ending the afternoon shift all together. These processes eventually lead to me being offered the Factory Mangers position once the current Manger retired.

At Mercury Mufflers i was an Storeperson / Delivery driver. It was my first job dealing face fo face with Clients. I enjoyed that job as it gave me more confidence in myself and the first job i experienced what it was like to work with an extremely difficult staff member. it also gave me a greater knowledge of the greater nrisbane area and i left that position after 2 years as it just didnt feel like the right fit for me anymore.

I was fresh out of school and had little self confidence dealing with people. This job taught me everyone was different and everyone had a different personality. It was also great for teaching me problem solving with little information and built up my confidence dealing with the Public in general
