I learnt every aspect of film production the hard way by being mentored for three years by a brilliant and prolific film producer Marc Samuelson. From script development to all areas of production, post production, theatrical and DVD release, I worked heavily in all these areas to build up a deep understanding of production and what it means to be an independent producer in the UK in the 1990s.
