My passions include:- Public speaking- My Podcast- Music- Cruising (Ships)- Running - Goal Setting and Achievement- Board Gaming- Aircraft- R2D2 - Big Hair, 80s Rock- First Press WineMe: the workerI work in the board game industry as a Distribution Manager and am part of the team that created and evolves our truly innovative service.My daily tasks include:- Proactive development and retention of our customer base of Rerailers- Cultivating long term relationships with Publishers pre, during & post crowd funding campaign - Monthly sales, stock and other KPI reporting, both internally and externally.- Developing my skills within the Office 365 suite, primarily Excel, PowerPoint and Word.- Daily working knowledge of managing a Shopify account and add-on Apps; Peoplevox; Google Suite; Microsoft Applications; Zoom Management- Playing new games and developing product knowledge to fully support retailers and maximise sales opportunities.Me: the public speakerI am the current President of my local Toastmasters International (TMI) Club - Spinnaker Speakers where we develop public speaking and leadership skills through peer led development and evaluation.So far in my journey since 2019 I have:- created and delivered over 50 speeches- visited over 30 different clubs- achieved multiple recognitions from both TMI and my peers- continued to work towards being recognised as a Distinguished Toastmaster and an Accredited Speaker- developed strong relationships with many clubs and members all over the world.- started my own podcast and am developing the associated skills- conceived and developed my own public speaking workshops that I deliver within, and outside of, TMI.- taught myself key skills in many areas such as slide presentation effectiveness, speech creation, confidence development and nerve management.- regularly shared opinions, thoughts and viewpoints; collaborating, advising and mentoring my peers and the wider TMI community.- supported, managed and led Club meetings- Coordinated special events, short public apeaking courses, and speech and evaluation contests.- focused on the self development of both myself and others- Strengthening and Develooing Communication and Teamwork skills.
