The test results from this program where submitted to the FAA as feedback to the NPRM for the use of cell phones on aircraft.Specified and documented the high level, system and customer requirements for the Altobridge 2G Military portable GSM backpack. Part of the team that developed the business case for the Merchant Maritime GSM network followed by the setting up of a two ship trial to prove the business case. This resulted in the creation of Blue Ocean Wireless where I went on to become CTO via a secondment from Altobridge.
