I am one of the Principal Innovation Engineers working with Fugro, with a focus on AWS and cloud architecture. My main responsibilities are helping to lift the overall capability of developers throughout Fugro with a particular focus on digitalization and taking advantage of the cost and elasticity benefits of AWS services. This splits my activities across direct engagement with teams globally providing advice and expertise equally with direct development activities towards foundational components development teams will then extend their applications from. From a more technical perspective, I have experience across a wide range of technologies from C on chip to Desktop application development. My main experience recently however is much more heavily focused on cloud and cloud architecture, and scalable, resilient service development. I a happy to say though that not a week goes by where I'm not directly working with code and development activities.
